S1, E6: Karan Bhumbla - "I'm letting students know that you can be Indian and you can be gay"

This week we speak with Karan Bhumbla (he/him) who shares his experiences as a gay, Indian, Science teacher. Born in India, Karan later moved to Canada and now lives in the UK where he is a Science teacher, Head of Year and Lead Practitioner at an all boys Academy. In this episode we discuss what it was like to grow up gay in India, the importance of being a role model, intersectionality and the challenges and rewards of working in an all boys school.
