238: How to Get More Traffic by Updating Your Archives

Today, I want to talk about your archives. I want to talk about those posts you’ve already written. I want to put forward an idea that I think has the potential to drive a lot of traffic to your blog and to help you build profit around your blog as well. The idea really starts with this premise: your archives are an asset. One of the things I want to encourage you to do this week and in an ongoing sense is to pay attention to your archives. If you’re getting 92% of your traffic to a single type of page, then that’s something you need to pay attention to. The reality is there’s gold in your archives, no matter what monetization method you use. Here’s my challenge: identify a post that you can update today.
