You Can Never Stop Learning Sure, easy to say. But once you get busy (say, start a production company, make a bunch of TV shows, and add two kids) it gets difficult. You might be tempted to tell yourself that you don’t have the time. Life is busy, the job all consuming. As two working TV and film producers, we can tell you it’s easy to fall into that trap. Thing is, in every business, everything evolves. TV and film even more so. Production companies and filmmakers have a lot to keep up with: * What’s changing * What’s possible * Where the business is heading * How to adapt and change as the world does * How to add value to their skill set and open new opportunities What if you don’t do these things? You’ll become the old guard, soon replaced by the new. So carving out time to learn and grow isn’t just about self improvement. It’s about survival in the entertainment business.
