Episode 021 - 4 Steps to focus and achieve on your goals

This episode is dedicated to focusing on your goals - that’s right staying in your lane and doing what’s brining the most joy into your life. Last year I wanted to launch a podcast - yet every time I thought about one I did not know what to cover in an episode - it stopped me in my tracks. For the past four years most people that come to me for advice typically want to know how to launch a project, keep their project on track, how to design a schedule, budget, a project plan. Literally all the “simple” things I’ve learned as a project manager over the last 19 years. Yet these things are not simple in some cases - so it’s with this that I launched Projects For Wildlife Podcast. I think it’s important to continue to learn from leaders who are in the field protecting wildlife and saving their habitats - by replicating success we gain more traction and with that we can do more and become more confident that we are making progress towards our goals. Yet the one thing we have to do is stay focused. So that is why I this episode is super important to your wildlife project. It’s all about staying focused. Here are the four steps for creating goals that you can stay focused on over the next 30 days. Step 1: Write down your goals (all of them) every single thing you’d love to achieve in 30 days. Step 2: Narrow down to your top three goals. Yes only three! Step 3 - WHY DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS. Step 4 - Are there any show stoppers? If so how will you overcome them.
