This episode is a tribute to the late keyboardist Mike Ratledge. He and is band The Soft Machine and contemporary band Caravan, were a part of the "Canterbury Scene" in Canterbury, England, a collection of bands that were inspired by rock, jazz and classical styles, and did extensive improvisation.
