Joran Van Der Sloot, the primary suspect in the Natalee Holloway disappearance, has been extradited to the United States from Peru for his 2010 indictment for extortion and wire fraud. There are a number of lawsuits related to ChatGPT first their company OpenAI is being sued for the chatbot allegedly defaming someone with a fake lawsuit. Two New York lawyers are pending sanctions for using ChatGPT to do legal research and then citing 6 cases that ChatGPT made up, and then they doubled down. Finally, a lot has been happening in the prosecution of Bryan Kohberger, including many new filings that finally became public and two hearings regarding the gag orders and cameras in the courtroom.
