Taraweeh Reflections Day 10 – Ramadan 1444 Hijri 2023

On the 10th day of Taraweeh Reflections, the Sheik discusses two verses from Surah Yunus (ayahs 7 and 8), revealed in Mecca to Prophet Muhammad (saw). These verses are related to the concept of the afterlife and those who reject the idea of meeting with Allah(swt) in the hereafter. The sheik clearly explains that those who reject the day of judgment and being accountable for their actions, are at risk of losing the real purpose of life and falling into moral corruption. The sheik conveys that morality cannot come from human beings as humans are subjective and vary their thoughts depending on the situation. The only way for human beings to live a harmonious life with a meaningful goal is by getting guidance from the Creator (Allah-swt) and accepting the concept of the day of judgment. The sheik reminds listeners that those who reject meeting Allah(swt) are the ones who desire to continue living a life of sinning.
