Rebekah Varela on Britain's most recent saint whose feast we celebrated on 9th October, St John Henry Newman. Originally from Canada, Rebekah is a Researcher at the University of St Andrew's in Scotland, specialising in theology and the arts. The MARIATHON is a unique fundraising event where we raise funds and deepen our connection with you, our listeners. It’s a time of thanksgiving. Throughout the Mariathon, you’ll have the chance to engage our team, learn more about our work, and discover ways you can become involved. This year our target was £30 000. We well exceeded this target and would like to thank all our listeners who contributed so generously.
