eSafety commissioner wants YouTube added to young people social media ban

The eSafety commissioner is recommending YouTube be captured by the federal government's planned social media ban for young people. YouTube is currently exempt from the ban, which will require users to prove they are 16 or older to access platforms like Instagram and TikTok from December.
