Federal government confirms first repatriation flight from Israel

Deputy Prime Minister, Richard Marles, has confirmed that 118 Australians have been flown out of Israel. An RAAF flight departed from Tel Aviv overnight, taking them to what Mr Marles described as a safe place in the region which is outside the danger zone, hours after Israel re-opened its airspace. It comes as the ceasefire between Israel and Iran appears to be holding this morning. Both Israel and Iran were yesterday accusing the other of violating the temporary truce.  Guest: Dr Rodger Shanahan, long-time Middle East analyst and former army officer and defence attaché who served across the region Producer: Brooke Young
