More funding needed for DV legal aid

Last year was a horror year for domestic violence in Australia with 78 women killed by gender-based violence over the twelve months, according to the organisation "Counting Dead Women." With a federal election on the horizon, frontline workers at domestic violence services are keenly watching for policy pledges and funding commitments from the major parties.
