Opposition urges government to cut red tape to boost productivity
Productivity has been named the top priority for the federal government's second-term economic agenda, with Treasurer Jim Chalmers conceding the government has more work to do revitalise the nation's stalled productivity. While the Opposition has welcomed this focus on productivity, it says the government must first take action to substantially cut red tape.
