Poker machine regulators fail to reduce gambling harm in NSW
New South Wales is home to over half the poker machines in the country, but a scathing new report has found the industry regulators are failing to help minimise gambling harm across the state's clubs and hotels. The NSW auditor-general has released a 'Regulation of Gaming Machines' report, revealing Liquor and Gaming New South Wales and the Independent Liquor and Gaming Association are not focusing on the worst-affected areas in the state.
