SEASON 3, EPISODE 2: Education and Employment: the male perspective

Season 3 provides an insight into the male perspective of having cancer at a young age and offers a balanced representation to explore how different genders experience similar situations or challenges.    In this episode we introduce you to Ryan, Ramsay and Stuart who are discussing the impact of their diagnosis and treatment on their education and employment. They share how both the short term and longer-term effects of treatment affected their ability to maintain their studies and jobs, and how that interrupted their plans and goals. Stuart valued the distraction that work provided for him but warned that its important to know your limits. They touch on the social pressures of not working and the stark realisation that you cant always keep up with others.    Season 3 is sponsored by the Beatson Cancer Charity Home | Beatson Cancer Charity and is recorded by Go Radio in Glasgow Go Radio | 90's 00's & Now | Number 1 for Glasgow & The West (thisisgo.co.uk)  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/radiotherapypodcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/radiotherapypod LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/radio-therapy-podcast TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@radiotherapypodcast
