Growing up in Knoxville, Tennessee, Heather Blankenship talks about how her family raised and killed their own food in those early days, and it was born out of necessity. She didn’t have a lot growing up. Fast forward years later, Heather found herself on a cross country road trip from Florida to California where she heard the idea of buying an RV park. Not knowing any better, she was bitten by the real estate bug and pulled the trigger. She bought an RV property that needed a lot of work done, not to mention the 100 people living there on top of that. And while it took some time for the property to make any profit, today that same property is worth over $13M. That property was the catalyst for the life she lives today. And that's where we meet Heather in this episode. Being in the business for over 10 years now, her goals are as big as ever. And she shows no signs of letting up. Up to date, Heather is involved primarily in her RV park investments, employing various contractors, managers, and staff. On top of that, she invests in tiny homes that act as her short term rentals, buy and hold multi family properties, and syndications. Going forward, she aims to acquire an additional $200M worth of real estate before her 40th birthday.
