Soli Cayetano grew up in small town Pacifica, CA, just outside of the Bay Area. Growing up, finances and “money talk” were all taboo in her family. As such, at a young age, Soli hustled hard to make money to ensure she wouldn’t be a financial burden to her parents. It also helped that she liked a boy who was already into personal finance because she’d use that to try and talk to him more. Unbeknownst to her, she’d get to read and learn all the same things most new investors do when starting out. She was a major nerd in high school, and like many other young people who did really well in school, she had no real idea of what she wanted to do with her life. Maybe non-profit work? Something for the good of humanity? During college, she worked in a coffee shop and had a regular who was a real estate agent. What intrigued her about this guy was the lifestyle he lived. And upon building a working relationship with him, she came to understand just how big her life could be. At 23 years old, that’s where we meet Soli in this episode. Up to date, she owns 21 units and works as a commercial real estate broker. Over the course of the next year, she plans on ramping up all fronts of her businesses. She wants to get to a total of 50 units, close 10 wholesale deals, and get to a point where she can close one flip a month, all the while doing it in a systematized and delegated manner.
