Being Judgmental - Recovered 1353

Click 3:25 To skip the intro and the call for donations Being judgmental in a 12-step recovery program is generally discouraged and often considered counterproductive to the principles of healing and personal growth. These programs emphasize the importance of fostering an environment of acceptance, empathy, and support. Passing judgment on oneself or others can hinder progress and perpetuate feelings of shame, guilt, and isolation, all of which are counterproductive to the recovery process. In a 12-step program, participants are encouraged to move away from judgment and instead practice self-compassion and empathy towards their peers, understanding that everyone in the group is battling their own demons and working towards the common goal of sobriety and personal transformation. Tonight, we talk about being judgmental in a recovery program.   This week,  Joel, Martin, Kim, Becky, Shelly, Amanda, Christy, Jim, Brian Made their Sustaining Partner Donations.
