Running from Health Inequity: Interview with Claudette Ferro of Medical Bridges

An exciting episode that I have been looking forward to releasing for a while now! One of my really good friends and colleagues, Claudette Ferro, recently travelled to Haiti on behalf of her company, Medical Bridges. Medical Bridges is an amazing company that takes medical waste that would've otherwise been thrown away, and up-cycles it to be reused in countries all over the world! We also discuss and compare the healthcare systems in the US, UK, and Haiti - all pretty massive differences and how it's impacted Claudette's view on healthcare and where she wants to take her career, professionally! In this podcast, we'll talk about the resiliency in running. Running has always been a steadfast for me and my favorite form of therapy, especially when I'm emotionally running from things like heartbreak, trauma, etc. Your host is Liz Newcomer, who will talk through the different relationships and traumas I've *run* from and how running has always been a constant for me. My hopes are to reach an audience that I'll be able to connect with and have an impact on whether you're able to relate, learn, or want to connect to continue the conversation!
