Running from Toxic Productivity

Never heard of toxic productivity? Me neither! But I'll bet you've heard of the hustle culture and workaholism! I wanted to share today on this topic of unhealthy and extreme obsession around productivity, as I've felt I've been so guilty of it throughout quarantine! Whether I was in a job or not, I struggled to feel "productive" and worked so hard to, that sometimes I'd just send myself into a pool of self-pity. It's easy to equate your self-worth to productivity, especially when your job (and paycheck) depends on it! Listen today as I share my thoughts on it, signs you may suffer from toxic productivity and how you can take action to heal from it!  Articles mentioned:   https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thequint.com/amp/story/lifestyle/life/toxic-productivity-avoid-during-covid-19-lockdown  https://studybreaks.com/thoughts/toxic-productivity/  Questions? Om Podcasten

In this podcast, we'll talk about the resiliency in running. Running has always been a steadfast for me and my favorite form of therapy, especially when I'm emotionally running from things like heartbreak, trauma, etc. Your host is Liz Newcomer, who will talk through the different relationships and traumas I've *run* from and how running has always been a constant for me. My hopes are to reach an audience that I'll be able to connect with and have an impact on whether you're able to relate, learn, or want to connect to continue the conversation!
