Ep.7 - Technology with Warren Richmond, CEO & Founder Situ Live

Welcome back to Retail is Dead.  A podcast started in Lockdown 1.0 as our answer to all the negative press around the retail and hospitality industries. We were fed up hearing that “retail is dead”, when in our opinion it’s just getting exciting – and we are finally seeing some of that post reopening. Our seventh episode is focused on all things tech. Covid has completely changed consumers use technology to interact with brands and in turn has challenged brands to come up with creative solutions to create better, more personalised and more genuine experiences IRL leveraging new technologies. In this episode we highlight great examples of this and interview a brand at the forefront of the evolution of physical retail. Our guest interview is the wonderful Warren Richmond, Founder and CEO of Situ Live ( IG @situlive) https://business.situlive.com Situ Live is a new and innovative shopping experience platform that allows customers to tell their own story and bring their products to life in a new environment, the Situ Live venue. They are opening their first ever venue at Westfield London in September so look out for more news on their IG and other socials. This episode’s Drop is The Qube (https://theqube.com IG@weareqube) , our amazing hosts in our first-ever live audio and video recording of Retail is Dead. The Qube are a wonderful broadcasting and photography studio providing a fantastic studio space, co-working and community events for content creators.
