GCSE RE AQA : Salvation (past, present and future)&St Irenaeus and St Anselm's Thoughts on Salvation
Hi guys and welcome to another episode in the RE series. In today's episode we will be covering 2 topics. The first topic is salvation. We will be learning about the impact I'd Salvation is the past, present and future as well as exploring how salvation and redemption is demonstrated at mass. In the second part of the episode we will be discussing how St Irenaeus depicts salvation through metaphors and how St Anselm compared Jesus' death with the idea of paying a ransom in the slave trade as he likens sinners to slaves as they are slaves to sin. In addition we will be comparing these saints' metaphors and weigh their strengths and weaknesses.
