357- THE RUNNING MAN

The year is 2019. America is in crisis. The media is used to manipulate citizens to the government's will. A rabid, blood-thirsty nation turns to the screen to get its daily dose of pain and suffering. But that has nothing to do with THE RUNNING MAN, the 1987 sci-fi- action flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a man who stands up against tyranny and is forced to play a deadly game for survival. We loved this movie when we were kids, but how does it hold up in today's dark dystopian present?  Listen here to find out (if society hasn't collapsed) and don't forget to subscribe and rate us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Stitcher. Om Podcasten

Rewatchability is a comedic pop-culture nostalgia podcast hosted by J.M. McNab, Rob LaRonde, and Blain Watters. It is produced independently in Toronto, ON.The show began in the summer of 2011. In 2012 it was profiled by The A.V. Club and in 2015 our podcast appeared on CBC Radio’s Podcast Playlist. The aim of the show is to re-watch movies and television shows from when we were younger, and review them in an interesting and hopefully humourous way. Hopefully.Rewatchability contains coarse language and immature subject matter; our main goal is to be funny, so please don’t take anything too seriously… especially you Ghost Dad. Hosted on Acast.
