417- 12 MONKEYS

The world has been ravaged by a deadly virus and humanity forced from the surface of the Earth. Since those things also happen in 12 MONKEYS, it seems like an appropriate moment to revisit Terry Gilliam's 1995 sci-fi drama. Based on Chris Marker's La Jetée, 12 Monkeys tells the story of a man who is sent back in time to get information on the plague that wiped out mankind. Starring Bruce Willis, Madelaine Stowe and Brad Pitt, this movie fascinated us when we were younger, but how does it hold up today?Listen to find out and don't forget to subscribe and rate us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Stitcher! Also, you can also support us by either contributing Patreon campaign, or by buying Rewatchability t-shirts from TeePublic. Also, don't forget to listen to last week's MINI EPISODE to prime yourself for our discussion! Om Podcasten

Rewatchability is a comedic pop-culture nostalgia podcast hosted by J.M. McNab, Rob LaRonde, and Blain Watters. It is produced independently in Toronto, ON.The show began in the summer of 2011. In 2012 it was profiled by The A.V. Club and in 2015 our podcast appeared on CBC Radio’s Podcast Playlist. The aim of the show is to re-watch movies and television shows from when we were younger, and review them in an interesting and hopefully humourous way. Hopefully.Rewatchability contains coarse language and immature subject matter; our main goal is to be funny, so please don’t take anything too seriously… especially you Ghost Dad. Hosted on Acast.
