For a moment it was all going so well, wasn’t it? Luke Ayling had smashed in beauty, the away fans were on it, the Stretford end was silent (as per). Unfortunately for Leeds, the rest of the game was a bit of a horror show. I know what you’re all thinking, why would I want to listen to anything to do with that game again? Well, we felt the same as we sat down for our first episode of the Right in the Gary Kelly’s podcast of the season, but you know what, there’s something quite therapeutic about dissecting a loss. Plus, It’s been so long since we could enjoy live football together again, no way could we say no to getting back behind the mics after a loss. In this episode, our panel discuss what exactly went wrong at Old Trafford as well as what additional transfer activity we can expect before the window closes. Our very own Super away attendee Matthew Beedle joined us straight after the game from Old Trafford to give us his thoughts on what it was like to be back watching Leeds live and fan Joe Wainman also spoke to us on his season expectations for the coming season. Buck ended with a game of ‘Guess Who’, we didn’t want to dwell too much on the negatives, there are 37 games to go after all!
