Since all scripture is given by inspiration of God, then we need to let God speak through His word. Sadly, most Christians redefine or reinterpret the Bible to match their mind. But scripture says to transform our minds to match God’s word, the Bible."And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2 KJVWe are to renew our minds to conform to the Bible. Not redefine the Bible to conform to our minds. We renew our minds by the continual study of God’s word. The battle today is for control of the mind. Whatever controls your mind controls your life.What is a mystery in the Biblical context?A Biblical mystery is "hidden wisdom" previously unrevealed or kept secret. Paul writes in 1st Cor 2 verse 7;"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:" - 1 Corinthians 2:7 KJVRomans 16 verse 25;"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began," - Romans 16:25 KJVEphesians 3 verse 9;"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" - Ephesians 3:9 KJVColossians 1 verse 26;"Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:" - Colossians 1:26 KJVThe mystery of the church, the body of Christ, was hidden in God the Father until the appropriate time for its revelation to the world. That moment came to Saul of Tarsus after his Damascus Road conversion.
