Awards Season with the Director and Producer from 'Colette' Oscar Nominated Short Doc

The world is in turmoil and never has it been more important to draw lessons from the past. In their Oscar nominated short documentary, Anthony Giacchino and Alice Doyard follow 90-year-old Colette as she confronts her past by visiting the German concentration camp where her brother was killed. The filmmakers open up to Rasha and Carter about their filmmaking journey and the responsibilities that come with bearing witness to such an important story. We then head to the Big Apple to hear from John Vanco who, as SVP and IFC Films General Manager at the IFT Center is all about connecting NYC audiences with the best movies, which of course include the Oscar Shorts every year!
