Through an old friend, she is offered a lifeline, in the form of a low paid job in a local nursing home: Meadow-view Manor. There she finds solace in resident Connie, who becomes a confidante for daughter Callie. Despite fleeting moments of calm, Kerry-Ann's challenges intensify as she faces job loss and unsettling calls about the investigation. Connie suggests that Kerry-Ann challenges her inner Lioness. So she contemplates drastic measures - if the Police aren’t doling anything maybe she can?
