PART 1 of a compilation of The Re-Education of Karl, and related bits, where Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant teach their bald round-headed lackey, Karl Pilkington, about various interesting topics. Ricky usually gives Karl some homework to do in the week on a historical figure, and Karl describes on air what he's learned from his reading and other 'educational' assignments. Part 1 begins with Karl telling us about his childhood schooling, and goes into his long lost GCSE results, which Ricky and Steve helpfully looked up for him. It then proceeds into the core 're-education' portions in which Karl demonstrates what he's gleaned from his weekly studies. ENJOY!
