Overnight the hospitals in New York began to drown. ICUs are filling up. There aren’t enough ventilators. Only a few masks are left. Many doctors and nurses already have the virus, and too many are being hospitalized themselves. A woman in Michael’s apartment building tested positive and died. The day we have dreaded is here. If we scramble - if we scream bloody murder - if we act smart, today, might there be a way out? Trump has shut all the doors. Forget for now about beating him in November. A number of us won’t live 'til November.
