Helping Out At Highbury

At long last, Rob and Paul volunteer at a parkrun. On a beautiful autumn morning, they take on the heavy responsibility of counting down the start - and tailwalking - at Highbury Fields' 500th event. Featuring a dewy dawn, parkrunners and walkers of every speed, cone confusion, dog attacks, squeaky pushchairs, going sober in October, marvellous marshals, and sundry shenanigans. Thanks as ever to everyone who has shared their running with us, and/or supported us through the Acast Supporter button; you're beautiful people and we love you.Rob's book Running Tracks is available here - https://www.waterstones.com/book/running-tracks/rob-deering/9781800180444, and you can get Paul’s award-winning 26.2 Miles to Happiness here - https://www.waterstones.com/book/26-2-miles-to-happiness/paul-tonkinson/9781472975270Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/runningcommentary.
