Leveraging Community Partnerships with Stephanie Hodges, MS, MPH, RDN

As a public health advocate Stephanie is passionate about supporting schools. Kids spend over 1,000 hours at school per year. Nourishing Principles see the school environment as a perfect place to boost student health and happiness for life. Stephanie believes that incorporating more physical activity into the school day, especially in the classroom, allows students to release energy and focus so that they are ready to learn. This, along with providing healthful foods in the cafeteria fuels students and enables them to reach their utmost potential.  This episode we discuss: Making the most of summer feeding  Getting involved in political advocacy  Using community partnerships to reach more hungry children Maximizing the Food Buying Guide as a menu planning tool  Resources Self-Mastered (originally School Nutrition Dietitian) has come to an end Keep in touch with Dalia Listen to my new show Body Liberation for All  https://www.youtube.com/daliakinsey Purchase a copy of Decolonizing Wellness  Connect with Stephanie https://www.thenourishedprinciples.com/ https://www.instagram.com/thenourishedprinciples/
