Activating Your Voice with Dr. Blackstock

In this week’s episode of Secure The Seat, I interview Dr. Blackstock. We discuss how to activate your activism with your voice.  Dr. Uché Blackstock is the CEO and Founder of Advancing Health Equity, which partners with healthcare institutions and organizations to address the critical factors that contribute to health inequity, through talks, educational training, and racial equity culture analytics. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU School of Medicine and the Faculty Director for Recruitment, Retention, and Inclusion in the school's Office of Diversity Affairs. Dr. Blackstock received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University. In December, she will be leaving NYU School of Medicine after almost 10 years on faculty and academic medicine to focus on her company!  Connect with Dr. Uché Blackstock at www.advancinghealthequity.com and on Twitter @dr_uche_bee
