Personal data is used to make very important decisions in our lives. Personal data can be used to affect our reputations; and it can be used to influence our decisions and shape our behavior. It can be used as a tool to exercise control over us. And in the wrong hands, personal data can be used to cause us great harm. We had a chat with Sophina Kio-Lawson, Founder of SheSecure. Speaker Profile: Sophina Kio-Lawson is an Information Security Professional with over three(3) years of experience in the tech/cybersecurity space, co-founder for SheSecures and currently an Information Security postgraduate Student at the Royal Holloway University of London. Over the course of these years, She’s had the opportunity to work with some of the key players in social Innovation, financial, telecommunications and human rights sector as a Security Analyst/Researcher. This had led her to develop her skills as a digital security analyst (co-creating the safeonline.ng guide), being a web application security tester, risk assessment auditor, digital security trainer and an advocate for Online Security.
