117. How To Go From Idea To Startup- with Tricia Kuntz and Mona Ockenden

What is that idea that is eating away at you? You just KNOW it could solve a problem for people and better yet, it could make you some money. How do you go from idea to startup? How to do you get your idea out there for everyone to notice? Today Tricia Kuntz "The Purple Painted Lady" and Mona Ockenden "Mona Moon Naturals" joins the conversation. About 10 years ago, Tricia discovered a product called Chalk paint by Annie Sloan. From the very first time using it, she just knew it was a product that other people would absolutely LOVE. She jumped in on it early and started selling it. Creating her fast growing business The Purple Painted Lady. Mona has a slightly different entrepreneurial journey. Mona Moon Naturals was born after her sister’s breast cancer diagnosis. In an effort to rid the house of chemical laden products, Mona created a natural, chemical-free recipe for body care essentials like deodorant, body whip and lip balm. A Product with a Purpose I love these ladies! Not only because they are both financially confident women who are also amazing entrepreneurs, but also because they were so sweet to my little Lexie. My 10year old Alexa is starting a business of her own called Bath Bombs for Charity. I guess she has the "entrepreneurial spirit." She often has questions mama can't answer so I invited her to sit in on the podcast and learn from the best. :) Cheers to being a financially confident woman!
