On the morning of August 22, 1979, Bogota was shaken awake by a massive explosion and thick clouds of smoke. The cause? A plane crash in the heart of the city that tragically claimed three lives and injured six others. Miraculously, the plane was empty except for one person: Armando Nieto Jaramillo, the pilot whose chilling plan was to crash the plane into his parent's house and kill them.
