40: Indulgence and self-loathing

⁣⁣www.thewayshamanism.com Instagram: thewayshamanism Email: hello@thewayshamanism * The purpose of this podcast is to inform and not to diagnose, prevent or treat disease ⁣At the core of shamanic journeywork lies soul retrieval: the integration of soul parts. Traumatic experiences cause a soul to fragment. This means that an experience was so severe that you weren’t able to fully cope with it at the time it occurred. A part of the soul then gets left behind in that trauma, as if frozen in time. This is an intelligent survival mechanism that allows the rest of your energetic being to move on.  Although most of us are able to survive and even function in daily life in (and thanks to) this fragmented state, people will often be energetically drawn to the trauma, repeating harmful patterns while subconsciously looking to integrate their lost soul part. Although common, this cycle can be very hard to understand and break. Being caught up in these destructive cycles is exhausting and can cause depression and a deep sense of hopelessness, as I have experienced firsthand. This state of being is especially dangerous because it exacerbates the trauma and attracts lower vibrational energy and entities.  In this episode, I explain the dynamic of repeated destructive behaviors that lead to self-rejection and further traumatization. Most importantly, I explain how shamanic Journeys can help you break free from this dynamic. Because I work directly in your energy field to retrieve and integrate these fragmented soul parts, Journeying has proven to be a most effective and safe form of healing. ⠀
