Lalla Coulibaly created DABA for herself, and found that there was a desperate need in the market for just such a platform: a network of approved, accessible haircare providers for curly/textured hair in Norway. She shares some of the personal motivations & obstacles, and the powerful impact it has had on a large population of people who are under-represented in the industry. The industry too benefits of her platform as they amend their practices to become more inclusive and attract a new client base.
