V26 - Part Two: The Six Day War, War of Attrition, October War and the Pyramid of Peace Project

In this article we continue our interview with Egyptian artist Galal Abdo Hashem, you can find part one of this series, here.  When we reached the Six-Day War and the War of Attrition in our interview with Galal, we tried to get all the possible details we could from him. In the end, he told us that he will speak about the notable incidents as he has many stories that would take months to cover. Following what happened during the War of Attrition, we spoke about the October War/ Yom Kippur War and Galal told us about his extremely interesting experiences during that war such as how he acquired a the wing tail of a shot down Israeli fighter and when unexpectedly he found himself in standing in front of an ambush site conducted by Egyptian commandos against an Israeli armored column near the outskirts of Ismalia.
