I met Irina about 8 years ago in Strasbourg. She was 27, a passionate Design student who recently gave up everything to follow her dream. She was active non-stop – learning design, learning French, working odd jobs to support herself and her studies. I never saw her flinch in the face of hardships. She kept her smile on, she kept focused and worked harder. She still does. She is now in the US, a designer that is being recognized at renowned international exhibitions.
