Many people have sights but no vision. The scripture says “Without vision, my people perish” (Prov 29:18)! In Daniel 8 God let Daniel see a series of visions that shook him to the core, and he recorded them for us to see what he ultimately saw and learned, beyond the visions! What do we need to see? And how do we need to see?
