Laura Checkley is an actress and comedian best known for her roles in BBC's comedy drama King Gary, Military Wives and Screw. She is also one half of the comedy duo Checkley and Bush who have toured nationwide with shows at Edinburgh Fringe and West End theatres. She has been labelled as one to watch on our TV screens, as she brings not only a comedy angle to her roles but also an amazing likeability and authenticity.In this episode Laura opens up about the moments that she pin points shaped her life. Starting with the decision to stop playing football at a young age in order to focus her career on musical theatre, that really built her path in the entertainment industry. She discusses the moment she decided to come out to her friends and family at the age of 23, and how the timing of this was so important to who she is now and the relationships in her life....would she have gone on to live a lie?
