Mel Schilling is a Coach, Therapist, Author and best known as one of the relationship experts on Married at First Sight, and has a 20 year background as a Psychologist. She is also Australia’s first dating coach and now their highest profile therapist. She has been part of MAFS Australia for 8 years and is also part of the cast of the relaunched UK version- making her a household name across the globe. In 2022 Mel released her highly successful book 'The C Word' and continues to work as a dating coach and business consultant for some of the highest performers and businesses.In this episode Mel doesn't hold back as we dive into all things MAFS, her current Cancer journey, and her thoughts on the theory of soul mates and fate. She chats about the Sliding Doors decision her parents kept from her, when they rejected an opportunity for Mel early on in her life and career- that if she had taken, her life would be totally different! Mel opens up about her years as a single women in her thirties, and how a Sliding Doors moment led to her finding the love of her life.
