Mistakes you could be making with your Self Care. In this episode, I delve into the mistakes that people make when it comes to self care, and what the true essentials are.  “Self Care isn't just about the things that we do...It's about learning to say no, to let go, to make space, to proactively manage our energy & health. It is caring about ourselves as we do for others that we love .” Karen  Do you ever think that you can’t do any self care, because you don’t have the time. Or that it feels like another ritual or a practise, something else to be added to our already full lives? I believe that it goes much, much deeper than that. It is not just about what we do, it's also about what we don't do. Self care is:- Leading yourself through life Looking after yourself, like you would someone you love, proactively looking after your emotions, your energy and your physical body. Not waiting until there is a problem. Learning to let go of what feel heavy, what is no longer needed, or is just unnecessary.  Setting boundaries.  We can absolutely add essential oils, baths, dancing, journalling, any ritual or practise that gives you calm and joy.
