LACASA, which is based in Livingston County, Michigan, provides critical services for victims and survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Under Schrandt’s leadership, this independent nonprofit organization has grown in breadth and scope to provide more than 30 programs and services that help victims recover from trauma and rebuild their lives. Throughout her four-decade career, Schrandt has served in numerous leadership positions at nonprofit agencies in Southeastern Michigan—all with a focus on empowering women, children and families.
