Immigrants convicted and sentenced to prison are still entitled to claim "Indefinite Leave to Remain" if they keep out of trouble for 5 years upon release from prison. These are just some of the astonishing facts relating to the nonsensical manner in which immigration policy is conducted in Britain today.
