Kristen Modafferi disappeared after work
Kristen Modafferi, an 18-year-old from North Carolina, disappeared on June 23, 1997, after finishing her shift at Spinelli's coffee shop in San Francisco’s Crocker Galleria Mall. Having moved to Oakland just 23 days earlier, she intended to start summer photography classes at UC Berkeley. Witnesses last saw her with an unidentified blonde woman.
