Albert Hipman born in Milan - Italy, developed his real passion for music at the age of 14 when he bought his first vinyl. He mixed in clubs around Italy and foreign countries ever since combining vinyls and digital music, mostly along side his colleague Federico Mandelli. He is also born in Milan in September, 22nd 1989, discovers his passion for electronic music from a young age. First approach with electronic music came in the clubs & pubs of Milan. The experiences and journeys between Ibiza, Berlin and other European festivals make him appreciate artists such as Raresh, Ricardo Villalobos, idols who influence his style and stimulate him in production and with many projects in the pipeline at the beginning of 2013 concludes his first EP released on italian Vilena Rec, followed by Dubgestion, Basswalk, P.u.n.c.h.i.s., 1994, Tief Recordings etc. In 2015 they founded their own vinyl only label Hashplant and in January 2016 they release their first 12" product on wax featuring one of their newest tracks. www.facebook.com/AlbertHipmanDj www.facebook.com/federicohashplant https://soundcloud.com/federico-mandelli https://soundcloud.com/alberthipman

No other genre of music that I've heard had such complex production methods where you can mix amazing bass grooves with minimalistic percussions/details, super organic sounds and elegant break-beat kicks which fit so perfectly together (and I've heard all from old school house to new deep techno and all in between). As far as Romania getting the title,it's mainly because they are the ones who took it to the next level,mind you this music is a form of micro-house/minimal that had been already in production for many years but on a very underground level - until Romania made it more popular (of course with the help of Ricardo Villalobos). The style of music really is something special,more intellectual in my opinion,because it takes a very trained ear to really understand it and enjoy it. For everyone whom is criticizing that it's only for druggies, this is very invalid information. Maybe the fact that it's so complex - it takes the average listener to take drugs in order to expand their mindset to listen and understand, but for those that get it, they do not need anything in order to enjoy such great abstract style of music." ◆◆
