In fact, I remember the theoretical physicist, Dr Brian Greene (who specializes in string theory) say something to the effect of, you do your audience, and humanity, a disservice, when you dumb your information down. Make your information understandable … but not dumb. Invite people ‘up’ to another level of knowledge.
