I am convinced that the ability to speak in a way that connects with your audience, be it an audience of 1 or an audience of thousands, is THE number one skill you can have in your professional toolkit. In fact, I believe it's the 'secret sauce' to professional influence and therefore success. In this special episode I’m sharing the distillation, the highlights, of my recent Speaking with Impact workshop (part 1), where I talk about how I reached this conclusion from lived, personal experience. I also share my own journey from being comfortable on a stage to realizing I wasn’t making headway in one-on-one conversations and how that led me to my ‘Lily Pad’ framework … which I also explain … to effectively inform and influence people.
