North Berwick Witch Trials
Our first Witch trial episode during the Season of the Witch! What got someone of accused of witchcraft in Scotland in 1591? Being a healer, doctor, or elderly woman seems to be the key. These witch trials follow similar themes to other famous witch trials in regards to the power of ignorance and gossip. And who is the greatest enemy of the devil? The answer may surprise you! It isn't God, but a King fascinated by witchcraft.
We hope to bring awareness to the people who lost their lives to fear and ignorance during all witch trials. May they all rest in peace.
